After surviving the fire of 1978
Michael is placed in The Rigemont Maximum
Securityy Hospital.
He spent 10 years in a catatonic
state believing the last of his
bloodline dead.
His transport attendants make the fatal
mistake of revealing the existence of
Jamie, Laurie's daughter.
Bogey-man Bogey-man
Jamie's uncle is the Bogey-man
She knows it and,
The nightmares torment her.
Michael escapes and
heads for Haddonfield.
Also having survived the fire Dr. Loomis tries to stop Michael before he makes it to Haddonfield, and Jamie. He fails and loses his car in another explosion.
Loomis Hitches a ride with a man who recognises
him as a hunter of evil.
Rachael is Jamie's foster sister. Her parents decide
she must give up her Halloween plans to baby-sit
Jamie and take her trick-or-treating.
Jamie picks a costume for the big night. Ironicly she chooses a clown suit much like Michael was wearing as a child the night he murdered his sister.
Jamie gets seperated from Rachel while trick-or-treating.
The sheriff and Dr. Loomis decide to 
bring Rachael and Jamie to the sheriff's home to "protect"
them. Michael hitches a ride with one of the deputies, and finds them there.
Rachael and Jamie escape with the towns
"lynch mob" and head for the nearby city.
Michael kills the driver of the truck, leaving
the two girls to fend for themselves.
Rachael rams Michael with the truck and knocks him
cold just in time for the calvary to arive. The sheriff
and his men riddle Michael with bullets sending
him through and old mine shaft.
Jamie and Rachael return to their home
battered and bruised. Jamie's young mind snaps
after the nights events, and she stabs her foster
mother with scissors.
